This American Life and The Moth Podcasts.

Hello Class,

In some of our classes, we have looked at MY FAVORITE podcast, This American Life.  The level of english may be rather advanced here, but I wanted to introduce this media to you, as I find it of very very high quality.  It will be a good way for you to practice your listening skills through a very enjoyable format.  Also, I have included a link for you about another favorite podcast of mine, entitled The Moth.

You can subscribe for free weekly podcast, or you can also stream live online their entire catalogue of show going back until 1996.

Superlative and Comparative Review

Hello Class,

Everyone at an intermediate level and above should have a good command of the comparative and the superlative.  In the coming classes, within our discussions, I would like everyone to really working on demonstrating the use of the superlative and comparative within a conversation.

A good review can be found here.

In the comments section, try practicing your superlatives by answering the following questions:

What is the most stressful period of the year for you?

What is the saddest movie you have ever seen?  Explain it.

What is the most intense sports match you have ever seen?

What is the hardest part of learning english for you?

What is the craziest thing you have ever done in a meeting at work?

Please post responses to these questions in the comments section.
